Art Walk was a wonderful success mainly due to the beautiful weather and the artists brought to town. Artist sold more art this year than ever before.
A wrap up session was last Tuesday. Conclusions for next year is a new theme “Historical Eufaula”. Art Walk will be the first weekend in October for the next 2 years. We will hire more musicians and visual artists during art walk. If you want to be hired drop by Main Street Studio We may have more events around Bank of Eufaula in their parking lot, although we like having an art presence on Main Street. Everyone liked the big tent.
The newly formed Eufaula Community Theater had a musical review this year featuring songs from various Broadway shows, including Into the Woods, RENT, Annie, Oklahoma!, and many more at Eufaula High School Auditorium.
When you see Cryse Burns, please tell her she has done a great job. This was the maiden performance of the Eufaula Community Theater group.
