Minutes of Regular Meeting held September 21, 5:30 p.m. at the Eufaula Memorial Library. Donna Pearce, Chair, called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. Present were: Glenna McBride, Beth Parker, Secretary/Treasurer, Lawannna Emerson, Vice Chair, and board member Andrea Thompson. Guests were Patty Daniel & Mark Beaver.

Announcements and Introductions were made.
Guests, Patty Daniel & Mark Beavers asked the board if they could have a Toys for Tots fundraising Cruise Night on the same evening as our Art Walk, Oct. 24th. They will run from 5-10:00 pm. We asked them to advertise as “after” concert & not “with”. We agreed to this.

Patty Daniel informed us of Team Up To Clean Up’s plans to hold the Eco-Art display at Save Our Water’s Main Street Office on Saturday, during the Art Walk.

Minutes of the August meeting and treasurer’s report were approved. (Motion - Beth, Second - Lawanna).

a. Discussed and approved the annual contract for Glenna McBride. (Motion – Lawanna, Second – Andrea)
4. Programming
a. Discussed Art Walk street banners. Only one more to do.
b. Discussed a need for volunteers for Art Walk. Glenna & Lawanna will organize.
c. Eco Art (see above)
d. Cruise Night (see above)
e. Winter workshop tabled until October agenda.
f. Annual Meeting tabled until October.
5. Public Relations
a. Discussed studio hours and calling list. Glenna will start a sign-up sheet.
b. Discussed having a soft opening in October, for Art Walk. Will also plan to have a Christmas show in November.
6. Fundraising
a. Will have Captain Weiner’s hot dogs at Art Walk. He will pay us $50 for the 2 days. We will also have beans & cornbread at the studio.

a. WPA Living Rock Legacy – No Report
9. Unfinished Business
10. New Business – Andrea knows an antique tractor guy. She’ll call him about Art Walk.
11. Next Meetings, Dates and Times:
a. Next EAAC Board Meetings are 5:30 p.m., Oct. 19, then Nov.??, at Eufaula Memorial Library.
b. Annual Gala will be Nov. 19th, at Gator’s.
