Minutes of Regular Meeting held August 14, 5:30 p.m. at the Eufaula Memorial Library. Donna Pearce, Chair, called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. Present were: Glenna McBride, Beth Parker, Secretary/Treasurer, Lawannna Emerson, Vice Chair, board members Deloras Frederick, Andrea Thompson & Jackie Goss. Guests were Nick Farrow, John Tiger & Cricket Jester.

Announcements and Introductions were made.
Minutes of the March meeting and treasurer’s report were approved. (Motion - Beth, Second - Deloras).
Standing Committee Reports:
1. Executive - No Report
2. Board Development
3. Finance
a. Discussed Commission & Tuition disbursements to Glenna. It was voted that 20% be paid by Eufaula Arts members and 30% by non members, effective August 20, 2009. (Motion – Lawanna, Second – Beth)
b. Discussed and approved $200.00 to be paid to Eufaula Pow Wow.
4. Programming
a. Discussed studio staffing and decided to keep it manned with volunteers.
b. Discussed Car & Tractor shows for Art Walk. City approved the use of parks. Glenna is working with the groups.
c. Discussed vendors. Quinton students will be selling cornbread, beans & bowls.
d. Discussed electricity for Art Walk. We will talk to OG&E and an electrician to see what is involved.
e. Summer Arts Evaluations submitted. Should be $4000.
f. Tabled Cryse Burns Variety Show.
5. Public Relations - No Report
6. Fundraising – Google Ads on website are in place and we have already earned $4. Phone number is 918-617-6278 (6ART) on the website.
8. Advisory Committees
a. Education Advisory Committee will start meeting in the fall.
b. WPA Living Rock Legacy – No Report

a. Next EAAC Board Meetings are 5:30 p.m., Sep 21, then Oct 19, at Eufaula Memorial Library.
b. Art Walk Meeting scheduled for Aug 15, then Sept 14, 2009 5:30 at 105 N. Main at 5:30.
